In less than 1 hour drive from Tak Taku Guesthouse you will enjoy the wide and open space with spectacular views on the salt lake.

As the water evaporates in the sun, white salt crystals form a specific and beautiful pattern as far as your eyes can see. The white, shining reflections make you imagine walking in a snowy landscape. Walk barefoot through the salty water and feel the pure cleanliness on your feet. This water is known to be beneficial for your skin.

Late afternoon as the sun sets, beautiful reflections make an impressive scenery which is inviting for our visitors to take extraordinary photos.

This excursion can be made during the morning or the afternoon and on request combined with an excursion to the desert.

Or for example make a combination of visiting the salt lake, proceed to visit the desert and ending the day with a road trip or city visit (Nain).
